The Estate
Since 1947
The brand story began with our grandparents, Fernande and Pierre, who, in an era full of hope, sought to establish an independent estate and make "their own" "wine of kings". The first baskets of grapes were poured into a 1931 Laplanche press, and a few years later, they began to reap the benefits of their labour, and the first bottles of Domi were marketed...
Thanks to the involvement of our parents, Roselyne and Lucien, during the 1970s, our family gradually acquired more land, enabling them to increase the production area. The range of champagne was expanded, the business developed and new cellars were dug out.
The 1990s begin with the arrival of the two brothers, Thierry and Stephane a few years later. The two brothers rapidly provide a delightful complement in a task that requires ever-increasing skill, and they both naturally find their unique place in the winery.
These days, Coralie and Quentin stand in for the fourth generation. These young talents have held since few years the keys to the success : The respect, the value of hard work, the will to learn new things every day which promise a bright and sparkling future for the Champagne Pierre Domi’ House»
